Ardenwood Christmas

Today the Patterson House at Ardenwood was open all decorated for Christmas!  We had 3 hours of school kids, over 600 of them!  It was just a basic walk-through to get them all through.  The kids were all so excited with all the Christmas decorations!

Father Christmas was in the gazebo visiting with the children!

The sheep in the meadow were munching fresh grass, thank  you rain!

The Newark High School Advanced Choir were singing beautifully in the farmyard to everyones delight...

And then they invited any children to join them in singing "Let It Go"!  That was a lot of fun!

And the littlest ones that completely knew the song really belted it out!

Some kids were busy making crafts too!  Everyone was having lots of fun!

In the meantime, the NWMP jacket has its "bread bag" completed and ready to go!

And I am finishing up on a hat for my burgundy dress.  I have a little feather thingy for wearing at Ardenwood in the evening, but tea in San Francisco required a hat!  Pictures tomorrow.

I will be doing flow-through tours Sat. and Sun in the afternoon.  Hope to see you there!
