The last of Ardenwood's Patterson House Murder Mystery Dinners will be held on the evening of Saturday, September 6. The Murder Mystery Dinners are very popular and this one was sold out as soon as tickets sales were open...and the number of guests was doubled!
I will be at the gate welcoming the guests. I get to sit down most of the time!
This dinner will be based on the actual garden party Clara held. As it was common, a handkerchief exchange was held. At this version, some vintage handkerchiefs will be displayed.
After all these murders, our October event, the Candlelight Tours will fit right in. The tours will conducted during a period the house was in mourning. Lots of information on Victorian Funeral Practices.
The first Candlelight tour will be Oct 17 in the evening. More later.
