This belonged to my paternal Grandmother, aka Grandma Daisy. I saw her using this item when I was 4 years old.
Have you figured out what it is used for?
Cathy, don't answer before Jen because you have used this before and should know the answer!
AND REGARDING YESTERDAYS MYSTERY, LOOKIE WHAT I FOUND:
It helps if you put in the right name of the item!
Isn't the internet a wealth of information!

ReplyDeleteWhat did you guess? You weren't right on the last one, it had nothing to do with an ob/gyn.
ReplyDeleteoops, it must not have taken my comment. My guess was a thing to make pies pretty around the edges.
ReplyDeleteYep, when you put your top crust on your pie, you run this tool around the crust edge and it cuts off the crust at the pie pan and at the same time it crimps the crust in a pleated design. The "S" on the side may have been used to make a pretty vent in your top crust but I've never done it so I don't know it that works.
